In Focus: Daniela Carapellotti – Accounts
Daniela started at Class Plastics as a 19 year old in 1991, one year after Class Plastics opened, just finishing an Administration course at TAFE. She basically learned everything on the job, with the help of Tony Jordan and Armando Marcolin, previous owners, who have both since retired.Later, when Mario Nastri and Daniel Carapellotti took over the company, started a new chapter for the business because they were young, energetic and had plenty of new ideas.
Daniela reflecting on her journey, “I have had many roles such as Receptionist, Dispatch and Purchasing Officer. I have pretty much worked in most departments, which have given me great knowledge over the years and the ability to easily step in to different roles if needed. Over my time, my journey has taught me to be more confident when interacting with customers, suppliers and other team members, problem solving and basically get the job done to the best of my ability. I have been ever grateful for Class Plastics for the flexibility of working from home and being able to pick up my children from school and achieving that optimal work/life balance.”
“The move to Truganina was definitely a milestone for us,as it enabled us to expand and better cater to our customer’s needs. What makes me most proud of working at Class Plastics is our continuous growth and knowing that I have been part of its success; being instrumental in changing from manual systems to computerisation and for us to embrace technology, so as to maximise its many benefits. We are not only a hard working team, but also a successful and evolving company with great potential.I hope to be part of this company for a very long time!”
